Horse enthusiast Emma Massingale has always believed in giving her horses royal treatment. Recognizing their intrinsic value and the joy they bring her life, she arranged a special spa day for her two beloved Shetland ponies, Albert and Ernie.

Intriguingly, these Shetland ponies have a rich history, tracing back to 4,000 years on the rugged landscapes of Shetland.
The hardy breed was once employed in British coal mines during the 19th century due to its compact size and strength. Today, they are mainly used for recreational activities, with children and adults enjoying their gentle nature.
Albert and Ernie’s spa day was out of a horse lover’s dream. Emma had everything arranged – from towels to shampoo and a ready parlor.
The ponies had their manes stylishly curled and set, with a mirror on hand to admire their groomed appearance.
The indulgence continued with a relaxing hot stone massage, followed by a nail—or hoof—polish. To top it off, the duo enjoyed a rejuvenating mud mask and a dip in a bubble bath.
Whether it’s Emma’s exceptional training or the ponies’ inherent good behavior, the spa day went off without a hitch.
The result? Gleaming golden locks, radiant under the sun, and two incredibly relaxed ponies. After their lavish pampering, Albert and Ernie were left to enjoy the rest of their day basking in the sun, undoubtedly content.
There was only one question left unanswered – what kind of drink did these pampered ponies prefer? Perhaps something with a touch of ‘mule’ in it? One thing’s for sure, though. Albert and Ernie had a day to remember, encapsulating a heartwarming tale of love and luxury.
