Three adorable liger cubs, a rare cross between a lion and a tiger, were recently born at the Novosibirsk Zoo in Russia. All three cubs are female and belong to the largest species of big cat in the world.
Since their birth on May 16, the cubs have attracted numerous visitors eager to catch a glimpse of these unique creatures.

Each cub has its personality, keeping their mother, Zita, and father, Sam, constantly on their toes.
While one cub sticks close to her mother, another enjoys exploring, and the third is often mischievous, playfully causing trouble.

At just a month old, the liger cubs have started venturing outdoors, already getting into playful antics.
Although they are currently on a diet of their mother’s milk, they will eventually be able to consume up to 100 pounds of meat in a single sitting once fully grown.
A zoo keeper shared that visitors are particularly excited to see the cubs due to their rarity. Many are surprised these tiny, cute creatures eventually grow into such massive animals.
