Snow tigers, a unique variant of the Bengal tiger, boast a distinctive white fur coat resulting from a mutation occurring at a rate of approximately one in every 100,000 tigers.
Unlike their Bengal counterparts, whose fur provides effective camouflage, the snow tigers’ conspicuous appearance leaves them vulnerable in their natural habitat, posing a significant threat to their survival.
