A heartwarming video capturing a touching moment between two stray dogs has gained considerable attention. It shows a loyal male dog standing by his injured companion after she was hit by a car in Azerbaijan. The video, shared by the YouTube channel Pets In Love, reveals the distressing situation where the female dog lay motionless on the ground, while her friend stayed nearby, clearly anxious for her well-being.
Eventually, a passerby stopped to help. Demonstrating kindness, he provided a shirt for the female dog, which her male friend gently placed over her, mimicking a protective blanket. The good Samaritan then contacted a rescue team, and together they waited for assistance to arrive.
When the rescue team reached the scene, they patiently gained the trust of both dogs. They took them to a veterinary clinic where the injured dog received necessary medical attention. Throughout the entire process, her companion never left her side, watching intently as she was treated.
The dogs were named Max and Ruby, and they remained together in the same recovery room. A month later, Ruby was miraculously able to walk again, much to the joy of her devoted friend Max.
According to Pets In Love, Max and Ruby have since been adopted and now reside together in the United States. They are reportedly “living a wonderful and happy life.”
