Scarlett Johansson is enjoying some relaxation time as Hollywood remains on pause. The 35-year-old actress, whose highly anticipated movie Black Widow was slated for release this summer, was recently spotted at a farmer’s market in the Hamptons, New York.
Dressed in a chic blue polka dot dress—a favorite she wore just a week earlier—Scarlett carried a bouquet and a bag of fresh produce.
With her hair pulled back and paired with casual sneakers, she fully embraced a laid-back style for her day out.
In a recent interview with Candis magazine, Johansson opened up about the growing pressures for celebrities to maintain an ideal image, sharing that the drive to look thin in Hollywood has only intensified.
“There has always been pressure on actors to stay thin,” she explained, referencing a scene from All About Eve where actress Bette Davis battles with herself over a piece of chocolate. “So even back then, there was pressure… And now, it’s much worse.”
Johansson also noted that she maintains her balance by focusing on a “natural” diet and choosing a healthy approach to stay in shape.
“There’s a weight I like to maintain, which is slim but healthy,” she shared. “For me, I am far too concerned about my health to take the route of eating disorders. I’d rather just stay in shape the natural way.”
Known for keeping her personal life private, Scarlett shared insights into how she handles public attention. She adopts a “classy” approach to privacy, keeping a low profile.
“There’s an aggressive way to do it, and there’s a quieter way,” she said. “Because I am not aggressive, I choose just to lie low… It doesn’t matter how people perceive me from afar; what matters is how people who know me perceive me.”
Through a mix of grace and self-awareness, Scarlett Johansson is navigating the demands of celebrity life while also embracing a more relaxed, authentic approach to her wellness and privacy.
