Scarlett Johansson, known for her role in the highly anticipated blockbuster Avengers: Endgame, took a break from her hectic promotional schedule to enjoy dinner with celebrity restaurateur Bruce Bozzi on Thursday. The 34-year-old actress was spotted in Los Angeles before the film’s premiere.
Johansson opted for a casual yet stylish look for the evening out, donning a floral print mini-dress that accentuated her toned legs.
She complemented her outfit with a black leather biker jacket and high black heels. Her dirty blonde hair was styled in a short ponytail, and she accessorized with black-framed glasses.
In contrast, Bruce Bozzi, 51, wore an all-white ensemble with a collared shirt and white jeans. Bozzi has ties to another major Disney franchise, the Star Wars series, as he is married to Bryan Lourd, who was married to Carrie Fisher.
Their daughter, Billie Lourd, recently appeared in The Last Jedi and is set to feature in The Rise of Skywalker. Bozzi is also the Executive Vice President of the Palm restaurant chain, which his family founded.
Despite her prominent role in the Marvel franchise and multiple appearances as Black Widow, it was only recently that a solo film for her character began development.
The lack of female leads has been a noted concern for Marvel Studios, which released its first woman-led superhero film this year, Captain Marvel.
In a recent interview with Paul Rudd on Lorraine, Johansson expressed relief at the increasing presence of female heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“A decade ago, when we started all this, it was a major testosterone festival,” she recalled, describing her initial experiences alongside predominantly male co-stars.
However, she noted that including actresses like Cobie Smulders and Elizabeth Olsen has positively impacted the atmosphere on set.
“I was so thankful to have two other women in the cast. We’ve got so many great actors now — it’s a huge relief,” she added.
Johansson is expected to attend the star-studded premiere of Avengers: Endgame in Los Angeles on April 22.
