Despite being pregnant with her first child, Scarlett Johansson continues her active schedule promoting her latest movie, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”
Scarlett, 29, appeared alongside co-stars Chris Evans and Samuel L. Jackson during the movie’s premiere in Beijing, China.
She wore a stylish peplum dress by Antonio Berardi, cleverly concealing her growing baby bump.
Radiant and elegant, Scarlett greeted fans with her caramel-highlighted hair swept back and accessorized with silver drop earrings.
She is engaged to Romain Dauriac, an independent advertising agency owner, who proposed to her with a vintage Art Deco diamond ring over six months ago.
Scarlett’s romantic life has seen its share of ups and downs, including relationships with co-stars Josh Hartnett and Ryan Reynolds, whom she married and later divorced in 2011.
On the professional front, Scarlett’s career has been unstoppable since her early days as a child actress.
Notably, her portrayal of Natasha Romanoff, also known as Black Widow, in Marvel’s “The Avengers” franchise has been immensely successful.
She has reprised her role as Black Widow multiple times, including in “Iron Man 2,” “The Avengers,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” and the upcoming “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
During a press conference in London for “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” Scarlett revealed the toll that her action-packed roles have taken on her body.
Despite sustaining injuries, she prefers to perform her stunts whenever possible, comparing her “battle wounds” with her male co-stars.
However, with Scarlett now expecting, she’ll likely be taking a step back from performing her stunts and entrusting them to professionals in the future.
