A heartwarming rescue story unfolded when a compassionate stranger saved an orphaned bear cub found clinging to her deceased mother in the wild.
The cub, Tahoe, was left at a rescue center after an anonymous tipster alerted authorities about her heartbreaking situation.

The rescuer, who preferred to remain anonymous, discovered Tahoe more than 400 miles away, crying and embracing her deceased mother. Unable to leave the vulnerable cub alone, he transported her to safety.
Staff at the Bear League in California have cared for Tahoe for nearly a month, ensuring her well-being.

They plan to reintroduce her into the wild once she is ready next year. The rescuer, who seems to have a personal connection with Tahoe, even knew the color of her blanket when dropping her off at the center.
Despite being advised by authorities to leave the cub undisturbed, the rescuer followed his conscience, refusing to abandon Tahoe to her fate.
After being examined by a veterinarian at the Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care Center, Tahoe was deemed healthy at 5.4 pounds and approximately weeks old.

The Bear League has updated Tahoe’s supporters through their Facebook page, sharing her progress and milestones.
Executive director Ann Bryant has pleaded for the anonymous hero to come forward, as they want to coordinate Tahoe’s release near Humboldt Redwoods State Park, where she was initially found.
