Lana, an 8-month-old puppy from Brazil, is winning hearts with her compassionate nature. Rescued alongside her siblings from the streets, Lana found a loving home with Suelen Schaumloeffel.
Despite living in comfort, Lana’s empathy shines through. Schaumloeffel bought Lana a cozy blanket for her doghouse one chilly winter’s day. Little did she know, Lana had a selfless plan in mind.
The following day, Schaumloeffel discovered Lana’s act of kindness. Lana had taken her blanket outside, placing it near a stray dog on the other side of the fence, offering warmth on the cold night.
Moved by Lana’s gesture, Schaumloeffel shared, “I thought, ‘How beautiful what she did for her friend.'” Lana’s action reminded her of the power of generosity.
Despite being unable to approach the stray, Schaumloeffel and Lana have been leaving out food and water for him, mirroring Lana’s compassion.
Reflecting on Lana’s kindness, Schaumloeffel remarked, “She is the nicest little dog I’ve ever met. We sometimes forget the difference we can make in someone’s life. She reminded me of this.”
