At Elephant Nature Park, elephants are treated with compassion, enjoying their favorite fruits like watermelon and bananas while roaming freely in their natural habitat.
New arrivals such as Mho Jae and her calf typically undergo quarantine to help them adjust to their new surroundings.
However, Mho Jae and Sa Ngae had a unique visitor—Sook Sai, another rescued elephant who quickly became a nanny for young Sa Ngae.
Despite initial hesitations, the three elephants formed a strong bond and soon ventured beyond the quarantine area together for the first time.
The trio’s newfound freedom is evident as they delight in simple pleasures like munching on watermelon, foraging for dried leaves, and splashing in water to cool off on hot days.
Sa Ngae, known for his adventurous spirit, often dips into the water pool for a refreshing break.
When it rains, all three elephants enjoy playful mud baths, reveling in the relaxed, damp surroundings.
Covered in mud and embracing their freedom, these elephants radiate a joy that profoundly touches any observer.
Their journey of rescue, love, and newfound happiness is a testament to the sanctuary’s mission.
