While many kittens dream of ruling their own little worlds, a select few set their sights on even greater glory, such as becoming royalty.
Princess Ivy is one such kitten who, from a very young age, aspired to ascend to the throne and reign supreme. Now fully grown, Ivy has gracefully claimed her place as queen, captivating all with her elegance and charm.
Ivy’s journey to her royal role was made possible by her devoted mother, who persevered to fulfill Ivy’s dream of a “happily ever after.” Ivy herself shared her adoption story on Instagram, posting the photo that captured her mom’s heart.
In this picture, Ivy—a lovely kitten with one sparkling eye—conveyed the hope of finding a forever home, a dream that soon became a reality.
After spending three months in an animal shelter, Ivy’s fate changed when her mom saw her photo. “The very next day, she came to visit me,” Ivy shared.
When they finally met, it was an instant connection. Even when advised to consider other kittens, Ivy’s mom remained determined to know more about the entrancing kitten with one eye.
Despite Ivy’s quiet demeanor during her time at the shelter, her true nature was revealed as soon as she entered the room. “They didn’t know if I was friendly or not,” Ivy explained, “but I ran straight to her and jumped onto her lap!”
Impressed by this loving gesture, Ivy’s mom completed the adoption process immediately, and Ivy was officially crowned Queen Ivy—also known as Miss Kitty to her friends.
Queen Ivy now enjoys her days in bliss, surrounded by love and treats. Her daily routine includes savoring her favorite snacks, especially ham, and maintaining her elegant figure with some feline yoga.
Rest is another essential part of Ivy’s royal day. She takes plenty of naps and engages in some playful hunting. Proudly presenting her triumphs, she quips, “Look, I vanquished this mouse.”
As evening falls, Ivy, like any cat, seeks her comfort in soft and cozy places. “After a full day of resting, eating, meowing at nothing, and exploring forbidden heights, I love to relax and unwind,” Miss Ivy confides.
Ivy’s life sounds like the perfect fairytale for a cat. Reflecting on her journey, Ivy shares, “Just like any fairytale princess, I was once locked away, awaiting my happy ending. Now, I am a QUEEN.”
