Determined Cat Keeps Grinning as She Finds Forever Home After Being Returned Twice

Published on

A black-and-white cat named Vali always sported a toothy grin, hopeful for a forever home despite being returned twice. Vali’s journey began when she was brought to the Community Cat Club after her owner died.

Initially expected to find a home quickly, her journey stretched over years as she waited for the right family to adopt her.

At around ten years old, Vali won hearts with her easygoing and affectionate personality. She loved to be brushed, brought joy to everyone around, and stayed by her people’s side, smiling all the while. “She’s a companion cat who just wants to be near you, purring and getting pets,” the Community Cat Club shared.

As weeks turned into months, Vali continued to charm everyone who met her. The rescue decided to move her to an adoption center for greater visibility, where she would tap on the glass and chirp to capture visitors’ attention.

Thanks to social media, Vali was adopted after six months, but her new home didn’t work out. Her adoptive family found that Vali preferred being the only pet, so she returned to the rescue.

Back in foster care, Vali happily settled in, sticking close to her caretakers, purring, and bringing smiles to their faces. “She’s the coolest cat, with the loudest purr and a love for cuddles,” her foster family noted.

Eventually, Vali was adopted again but was returned due to her adopter’s changing living situation.

Now 12 years old, Vali continued to spread joy, following her foster family around and offering companionship, her famous grin as bright as ever.

Determined to find her the perfect home, the rescue team shared her story widely, and this week, Vali’s patience paid off. After 2.5 years, she finally found her dream family.

Vali’s new parents welcomed her as their only pet, and she happily lounges on the couch, watches the world through the window, and basks in the warm sunlight.

“She’s already settling in well, and we couldn’t be happier for her and her new family,” shared her rescuers. Vali’s toothy smile now has a home to match.
