In the heart of Kettering, Ohio, resides a fluffy bundle of joy named Chevy, the ever-smiling Pomeranian, who has captured the hearts of many at just nine years old.
Tina Marcum Denlinger, Chevy’s proud owner, describes him as a perpetual ray of sunshine, bringing cheer wherever he goes. “We’ve never seen him have a bad day. It just cracks us up,” Denlinger told The Dodo.
“Everything’s a celebration. If we go for a walk, he celebrates. If there’s food, he celebrates. He’s always so happy.”
Chevy sports a charming little hat to enhance his already adorable appearance, shielding his eyes from the sun during their outdoor adventures.
“He rides on the golf cart and surveys the whole area,” Denlinger shared. “Everyone knows him… He gets into the cart and has a little harness so he doesn’t fall. And that’s his thing. It’s like he’s in a parade or something. He’s so upbeat.”
Despite his constant smile, Chevy’s expressions occasionally shift, signaling to his attentive parents if something isn’t quite right.
But fear not, as a mere mention of a walk or the sight of food instantly restores his trademark grin. “Everyone thinks he’s a puppy because he’s full of energy,” Denlinger chuckled.
“He does what we call ‘spin dry,’ where he spins around whenever he wants something. He goes into a complete circle.”
Chevy’s infectious happiness has earned him a special place in the hearts of all who encounter him. “Everyone just gets a kick out of him because he’s so upbeat,” Denlinger added, emphasizing the undeniable joy Chevy brings to everyone around him.
