Meet Cezar, a cat whose appearance resembles that of a majestic lion, but whose demeanor is as sweet as can be.
His owner, Wojtek Czachurski, hails from Bochnia, a town in southern Poland, and he describes Cezar as an incredibly gentle and affectionate companion – traits that are typical of Bengal cats.
As a dedicated photographer, Wojtek frequently captures stunning images of Cezar’s captivating look, complete with his wild colors and long fur, which never fail to leave people in awe.
Wojtek owns Sirocco Bengals and Cashmeres, a cattery that contributed to this fascinating story. Many individuals assume that Cezar must be a mix of Bengal, Maine Coon, or Siberian breeds, or even question the authenticity of his photographs.
However, Wojtek assures them that Cezar is a purebred Sirocco Cashmere Bengal.
Initially, Wojtek ventured into photography through capturing moments of his granddaughter, but his passion now includes his happy household of cats and a husky, companions for over 15 years.
When Wojtek first brought Cezar, a young tomcat from his cattery, into his home, there was some initial concern about how he would adapt. Thankfully, Cezar settled in seamlessly.
Wojtek’s knowledge of Bengal cats informed him that these felines are sociable creatures that thrive with proper care, attention, and exercise.
Recognizing their dislike of solitude, he made sure Cezar always had company. Cezar has since flourished among other animals, further highlighting his sociable nature.
Among Cezar’s furry companions is Borys, a 3 1/2-year-old Bengal known for his caring disposition, and Portos, a silver Bengal celebrated for his robust but gentle character.
This trio enjoys a lively lifestyle, relishing in activities such as playing, eating, and sleeping. Exhibiting dog-like behaviors such as fetching and napping at Wojtek’s feet, their boundless energy and curiosity are unmistakably cat-like.
Wojtek’s lifelong love for animals is evident in his care for these Bengals, fulfilling his dream of sharing his life with big cats like pumas and cheetahs.
Despite their grandeur, Cezar, Borys, and Portos are well-behaved cats, described by Wojtek as clean, intelligent, cheerful, and affectionate. They manage to steer clear of any furniture damage and never show aggression towards humans.
