Hollywood’s darker side is no longer hidden, and social media is quick to pass judgment on celebrities. From the high-profile Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial to the explosive Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split, public opinion is relentless.

Now, it seems Brad Pitt is following in Depp’s footsteps to manage the negative press surrounding him.

The fallout from Brad’s children, Maddox and Zahara, reportedly dropping his surname, has significantly impacted his public image. After an 11-year relationship, Jolie and Pitt’s 2016 separation was heartbreaking for many.

In 2022, during an alleged altercation on a flight, Jolie’s lawyers accused Pitt of “choking one of the children and striking another in the face.” This incident led to comparisons with the Depp-Heard saga, with some calling Pitt and Jolie “Johnny Depp – Amber Heard 2.0.”

Concerned about his tarnished reputation, Pitt is reportedly turning to the same crisis PR team that helped Depp. According to a report by The Things, Brad Pitt has enlisted Matthew Hiltzik of Hiltzik Strategies to help repair his image.

Hiltzik, who previously worked with Depp during his turbulent times with Heard, has a notable list of celebrity clients, including Katie Couric, Justin Bieber, Harvey Weinstein, and associates of Donald Trump. Pitt hopes that Hiltzik can help improve his public image and his relationship with his children.

Previously, Pitt’s son Pax made headlines with a scathing Father’s Day message in 2020, calling Pitt a “world-class a**hole” and accusing him of lacking empathy towards his children. Pax’s harsh words highlighted the strained relationship within the family.

In an effort to calm his chaotic life, Brad Pitt hopes that taking a similar path to Depp will bring about positive change. However, this move will likely spark significant debate and discussion on social media.
