Grizzly bears are known for their immense size and strength, and encounters with them can be risky, primarily during spring when mother bears protect their cubs. However, this particular grizzly seemed driven more by curiosity than aggression.

The tour guide acted quickly to ensure the safety of the group. Realizing he didn’t have his bear spray, he prepared to use his .44 magnum as a last resort.
However, he soon noticed that the bear’s approach was less about aggression and more about curiosity.

The guide instructed everyone to raise their hands to help the group appear larger and deter the bear.
The bluff charge didn’t escalate into an attack, and the bear eventually backed off, leaving the group relieved but reminded of the unpredictability of wildlife encounters in Alaska.
